a stranger among us

She brushes the hair away from her forehead, leans in, listens.

What is she doing? Who is she talking to?

She watches as he smiles, looks away, then looks back. She reaches up, squeezes his nose, stands up and walks away.

Who is she? Where is she going? What did she say?

 

She breathes in. Exhales slowly. Walks with her shoulders back.

WHO is that woman? Where did she come from? Why is she smiling?

Nobody can quite figure her out. She likes that.
